Yorkies are one of the smallest of the toy dog breeds. They are a very intelligent breed and can learn just as fast as the "teacher" has time to instruct. They're a delightful house pet and a never ending lap dog. If you have lots of "lap time" and TLC, the Yorkie is just the breed you've been looking for. Males are just as loving and affectionate as females. In general, the breed gives more kisses than one would imagine could be possible, from such a small little dog.

Normal adult weight ranges on average from 4 to 7 lbs. Occasionally we have one in a litter that is smaller, or larger. I am a "show breeder" and breed only to produce that very special "show dog". Others are placed in loving, caring homes.

As a breeder and as an owner, my dedication is to the Yorkshire Terrier breed. I frequently tell people that "selecting the new home" for one of my puppies is a privilege that I didn't have with my grown children therefore, I am going to do my best to select just the right family for each puppy.
